T he BBC's local radio chief says stations must not be "frightened" about playing modern music, as older listeners "will not complain about being seen as young". Chris Burns, head of audio and digital at BBC England, said playlists have been "skewed too old" in the past and the corporation needs to be a "much broader church".

Funeral from there on Tuesday 1 st October at 10.15am going to St Mary’s church, Cokchill for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Sean (Gun) Murtagh, Dundalk, 1956 - 2019
Sean (Gun) Murtagh who died suddenly on June 20th last while on holiday in Majorca was a member of a large family from the Quay area of town. He was born in the town’s old military barracks. Sean was son of James and Margaret Murtagh, and grew up in Hyde Park and attended the Christian Brothers school.
