Christmas Eve midnight mass at St. Vitus for limited number of belivers
There is reported to have been a scramble for reservations for the Christmas Eve midnight Mass at St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague this year, due to the limited number of participants allowed to attend. The permitted number of people has been reduced to 20 percent of the church's capacity in the current fourth stage of anti-epidemic measures.

Nails 'used in crucifixion of Jesus Christ' found in secret monastery chamber
Archaeologists have discovered a shrine with a chipped part of the nail which they believe is from the cross on which died. The discovery was made at a monastery in Milevsko, Czech Republic. The six-centimetre fragment of the nail was found in a cavity in the vault of the monastery.
