Probe into Radio Emmanuel staff strike begins
The Catholic Diocese of Torit has formed a committee to investigate why journalists working for Radio Emmanuel 89 FM went on strike. The committee was formed on March 4. Bishop Stephen Ameyu, the Bishop of Torit Diocese, told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that a six-member committee had been set up to investigate the causes of the recent strike.

Student reaches BBC Young Musician of the Year final
Lewis Isaacs, who lives near Bishop's Stortford, reached the percussion category final after having competed against hundreds of young musicians from all over the United Kingdom. He could now win £1,000 if he beats the other four competitors, and go onto the semi-final against winners of four other categories.
