Judging solely by President Donald Trump’s Twitter feed Wednesday morning, you’d think the nationwide protests against police violence Tuesday evening consisted only of looting, rioting, and property damage. However, the protests remained mainly peaceful , especially after George Floyd’s family members implored protesters to remain nonviolent.
