Mayo schoolteacher fondly remembered following her death
The death has occurred of Maureen Murray (nee Evans), Hawthorn Avenue, Castlebar and late of Bantry, Co Cork, peacefully, at University College Hospital, Galway. Mrs Murray was a member of the teaching staff at Balla Secondary School where she taught music, and she is fondly remembered by students and colleagues, past and present.

The Ghana Health Service reported 20,187 recoveries with 139 deaths. The active cases stood at 4,192. The recovery rate is one of the highest across the continent.
