Residents along the Bankstown rail corridor never wanted to replace our high-capacity, full-seating double decker trains in the first place ("New trains a bridge too far for traffic congestion", October 30). Now every time we hear about the proposed metro trains, the decision seems more and more ludicrous. |

I suppose, on the positive side, we had an extra hour in bed, but now that the clocks have gone back, the nights really are drawing in, meaning that 7pm feels more like 11pm!
