Nicholas Ballas, a St. Paul native who’s devoted to books, has purchased Common Good Books and renamed the store Next Chapter Booksellers. He bought the independent St. Paul bookstore, at 38 S. Snelling Ave., from founder, writer and radio personality Garrison Keillor.
