Despite "quite a Catholic upbringing", Mr Carmody — who works as a producer at ABC Radio Darwin — had not been a regular churchgoer since he was in high school.

Radio personality Brian Oake no longer on The Current
Brian Oake and The Current radio station have parted ways. The Twin Cities station, part of Minnesota Public Radio, gave no reason for his departure, which was announced Friday. “Brian Oake is no longer with The Current,” said Angie Andresen, spokesperson for Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media.
