Manadarin Chinese among new Leaving Cert courses on offer from next year
Students across the region and nationally will be able to choose Mandarin Chinese as a leaving cert subject from September next. The first exam in the subject will be in 2022, according to the Irish Independent. It's one of four languages being added to the second level curriculum, along with Lithuanian, Polish and Portuguese.
