TEHRAN – Iran’s Defense Minister Amir Hatami said on Sunday that the U.S. made a “strategic mistake” by assassinating top Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, saying such a miscalculation has increased the cost for American military presence in West Asia.
