One of the largest food processing factories in South Asia was opened today at the Katunayake Investment Promotion Zone (IPZ). The food processing factory is owned by a local businessman with an investment of Rs.1.5 billion. The factory is established aiming to meet the 10% of international market requirement for food-related products.
