Gilas Pilipinas overwhelmed Thailand, 93-61, in the Fiba Asia Cup Qualifiers at Khalifa Sports City in Manama, Bahrain late Friday (Manila time). The young Philippine squad made up of collegiate standout had no problems against an all-pro Thai side, quickly breaking the game wide open in the second quarter and leading by as much as 36 points.
