| Tahiti dealing with huge backlog of mail |

The Tahiti postal service says it's working to deliver more than six months mail backlog.
A container with about 1000 mail bags arrived in the capital, Papeete, by ship on Friday. The mail had been stuck in various countries in Asia and the Pacific after borders were closed and flights cancelled earlier in the year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
