Shades of 1999's earthquake "rapprochement" between Greece and Turkey appeared on Friday, hours after a devastating 6.7 on the Richter scale earthquake that hit the eastern Aegean island of Samos and the greater Izmir region on the opposite Asia Minor coast in the early afternoon.
