Indonesian President Joko Widodo has defended his record on fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, asking for no "polemics" amid criticism that he is putting the economy over public health. The COVID-19 caseload in the world's fourth-most populous country rose to 299,506. Its coronavirus-related death toll of 11,055 is among the highest in Asia.
