This July 12 marks the new anniversary of the physical disappearance of Carlos Puebla, a Cuban singer-songwriter considered a musical chronicler of the country’s history since 1959. His melodies and lyrics portrayed the time in which he lived and the revolutionary transforming fervor is evident in his songs.
