reporter. During that time he reported on an incredible 1,017 matches in a row - about a fifth of all Stoke games ever - and 260 different players. There have been 11 different permanent managers, two promotions, one FA Cup final and a Europa League journey from Croatia to Spain via Asia. It is some achievement.
