KUALA LUMPUR (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Malaysia has announced stiffer penalties for motorists who cause death due to recklessness or driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs in the newly-passed Road Transport (Amendment) Bill 2020. The Bill was passed in the Dewan Rakyat with a simple voice vote.
