In late June, in another Asian country, a staff member from the travel agency HIS Co. arranged clothes in a room in preparation for a business meeting involving a Japanese apparel firm. The Japanese firm was unable to send its representatives in person for the talks, so it contracted with the travel agency to set up the next best thing.
