LONDON - The world could see a sharp increase in people dying from diseases like tuberculosis, malaria and HIV due to the disruption to health services caused by the coronavirus pandemic, according to scientists. The infectious diseases kill millions of people every year, with sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia among the worst-affected regions.
