Facebook and Twitter have pulled posts by US President Donald Trump for violating their COVID-19 misinformation rules. The Philippines has overtaken neighbouring Indonesia as the country with the highest number of COVID-19 infections in East Asia. India has recorded the biggest single-day coronavirus fatalities of 904 in the past 24 hours.
