| Markets rise as data shows Asian recovery |

Asian markets were broadly higher on Monday as investors cheered strong PMI numbers which underlined the recovery in the fastest growing region in the world. China’s Caixin manufacturing PMI surprised markets by jumping to 52.8 in July from 51.2 in June, marking the highest point since February 2011.
