| Indonesia Closes in on China as Coronavirus Cases Cross 80,000 |

Jakarta. Indonesia is catching up China in the global ranking of confirmed coronavirus cases, as Southeast Asia's biggest country reported a total of 80,094 cases on Wednesday, 1,522 more from the previous day. Indonesia has been averaging around 1,600 cases per day since the start of the month.
