The World Bank’s Global Economic Prospects report forecasts that the world economy will see a serious decline in 2020, at 5.2%. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said that the damage could mount to US$5.8-8.8 trillion, equivalent to 6.4-9.7% of global GDP.
