The World Health Organisation has warned the coronavirus pandemic is entering a new phase. In a new single day record, more than 150,000 new cases were reported. The majority were recorded in The Americas, accounting for about half of the new cases. Large outbreaks are also occurring in the Middle East and South Asia.
