Social media giant Facebook removed over 51,000 posts in Myanmar that contained hate speech in the first quarter of the year, a senior company official said.
The deleted posts violated Facebook’s community standards regarding hate speech, said Rafael Frankel, its public policy director for Southeast Asia.
