In Washington, D.C., thousands staged what was the city's biggest Black Lives Matter demonstration yet on Saturday. Demonstrations also took place in Europe, Australia and throughout Asia. Protesters in Bristol, England, toppled a statue of slave trader Edward Colston, whose company transported tens of thousands of slaves between 1672 and 1689.
