U.S. markets were closed on Monday as the country marked Memorial Day. The UK market was also closed. The big mover on European markets was Spain, where the IBovespa soared 4.25%. In Australia, the All Ordinaries surprised with a 2.16% gain, while Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 1.73%.
