PETALING JAYA (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad was asked not to resign but he went ahead with his decision, Malaysia's King, Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin, said in an address to Parliament on Monday (May 18).
