CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A new online visualizer can map the coronavirus’s mutations, drawing a “family tree” which can give clues to epidemiologists and researchers on how the virus spread and changed across the world. Though the virus originated in Wuhan, China, Nextstrain.org shows just how much SARS-CoV-2 changed as it moved through Asia and Europe.
