| Asian stocks mixed after Wall Street gains on recovery hopes |

BANGKOK – Asian stock markets were mixed Wednesday as hopes for a global economic recovery rose after more governments eased anti-virus controls. Benchmarks in Shanghai and Sydney declined while Hong Kong, Seoul and Southeast Asia followed Wall Street higher. Japanese markets were closed for a holiday.
