TOKYO — Global stock markets rose Tuesday on hopes that the peak of the coronavirus pandemic surge may be near in some places in the United States and Europe. Asian markets rallied after a strong close on Wall Street, with the momentum extending into European hours and pushing up Wall Street futures.
