With global oil markets in turmoil, gas markets have also fallen victim to the double whammy of the Covid-19 demand destruction and an OPEC-Russia crude price/supply war. Asian gas prices have tumbled from highs of more than $11 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) in late 2018 to just $2.7 per MMBtu in March 2020.
