Benchmark Dubai crude futures’ premium to ICE Brent ticked up in mid-morning Asian trade on Thursday as easing freight rates open up avenues for storage of excess crude barrels and stimulate demand for Middle East crude in Asia. At 11 am in Singapore Thursday, the May Brent-Dubai Exchange of Futures for Swaps widened to minus $4.
