Futures pointed to a lower open for Japanese stocks while shares in Australia rose in early trade following their Monday plunge. Overnight on Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 2,997.10 points to close at 20,188.52 — its worst decline since its "Black Monday" crash three decades ago when it fell more than 22%.
