| The Fed Is Quarantining Some Cash to Fight the Spread of Coronavirus |

Quarantine isn’t just for people now. The U.S. Federal Reserve has started putting aside some of the physical cash it receives in order to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. The Fed’s regional banks are now holding bills that they receive from Asia aside for a minimum of 7 to 10 days, a central-bank spokesperson said.
