ASIAN PLACES OF WORSHIP BAN HANDSHAKES. No handshakes are allowed in places of worship across Asia, as the outbreak of coronavirus continues to spook people. Japan, Hong Kong and the Philippines have reported one fatality each. In Hong Kong, those opting to go to churches are being asked to wear masks.
