| France Reports its First Death from the Covid-19 Coronavirus |

French health authorities have reported the first death associated with the Covid-19 coronavirus. An elderly Chinese tourist has died in France, marking the first death outside Asia from the coronavirus. The virus has killed more than 1,500 people in China. There were 2,641 new confirmed infections in China, the National Health Commission said.
