BEIJING (AP) — Asian stock markets slid Monday after China reported an uptick in new cases of its virus outbreak and analysts warned optimism the disease is under control might be premature. Market benchmarks in Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong retreated. Australia was unchanged.
