Guam has secured its first win in the Fed Cup women's tennis competition after sweeping Turkmenistan 3-0 in the Asia/Oceania Group Two event in Wellington. Katrina Lai defeated Arzuv Klycheva 6-2 6-1 in the opening singles rubber before Nadine Del Carmen edged Bahar Tomyradova 6-3 7-6, winning the deciding tie-break 7-3 to seal the historic result.
