New Asian Development Bank President Masatsugu Asakawa who has pledged to do his best to achieve a more prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific, assumed office as the 10th President of the ADB last week. Asakawa succeeds Takehiko Nakao, who stepped down on January 16.
