Michael William Oley September 27, 1944-February 16, 2019. Michael Oley, who died unexpectedly in his sleep aged 74, had a long working life in the mining industry in Australia, Africa and Asia. In 1951, Michael’s father brought his family from Lancashire, England, to Brisbane, to work at the Southern Electricity Board of Queensland.
