DW News Indonesian surfers ride waves to overcome tsunami trauma. In a matter of minutes, the waves came, destroyed and changed lives forever in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. A 9.3 magnitude earthquake had struck in the Indian Ocean, triggering a tsunami that killed more than 220,000 people across Asia.
