AN activist has accused China of orchestrating the mass rape of Uighur Muslims after it was revealed Han Chinese men were being "assigned" Muslim "wives". An anonymous Chinese official told Radio Free Asia last month the women were paired up with male "relatives" in order to "promote ethnic unity".
