Source: Asia Development Bank. Late on 12 February 2018, Tonga was battered by the most powerful cyclone to directly hit the islands of Tongatapu and ‘Eua in more than 3 decades. Vi Litili had never been so scared in 53 years of living in a Pacific island country not unused to such storms.
