Stocks in Asia were set to inch higher at the open on Wednesday ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest rate decision due later in the day stateside. Futures pointed to a higher open for Japanese stocks. The Nikkei futures contract in Chicago was at 23,435 while its counterpart in Osaka was at 23,450.
