The introduction of patent term extensions is a positive step as China looks to become an IP powerhouse, but further clarification is needed, say Xiaofan Chen and Hai Liu of AWA Asia.
The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress published draft amendments to the Patent Law for public comments on January 4 2019.
