Prior to joining Katanga, Davis was the executive general manager of Hong Kong-listed MMG's operational and growth objectives in Africa, Australia and Asia. He resigned from that position in July this year. Prior thereto, he had general management responsibility for BHP’s aluminium smelting operations in South Africa.
