TOKYO – Pope Francis will be visiting the Japanese city of Nagasaki on Sunday to make a call for nuclear disarmament and to honor the martyrs of Catholicism in the country where they were brutally persecuted for centuries. Nagasaki, also known as the Rome of the East, is Japan’s stronghold of Catholicism and Christianity.
