The highly decorated Maj Gen Nigar Johar is the third female Major General in the Pakistan Army and became the first female Commandant in Pakistan’s history of CMH Jehlum when she was appointed in 2015. Currently, she is Commandant-in-charge of one of the largest army medical hospitals in South Asia; the Pak Emirates Army Hospital (PEMH).
